I graduated high school with you. Anyways, I just wanted to say that it is so sad to drive by there everyday. I still live here. My son is in the first kindergarten class to start in the new building. It makes me want to cry!
In 1964 my family lived in Wichita Falls and I was at school when the tornado destroyed Sheppard Air Force Base. Do you know if I can get pics of this tornado.
I lived in Wichita Falls when this happened and I remember them not sounding the sirens or anything to let us know there was a tornado. They came on the news later that night and said that there was no reason to sound the sirens. This looks like a pretty darn good reason to me!
Hee hee! One of the things that sticks in my mind the most from that conference was seeing Dr. Greg from the Weather Channel in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt! Every time I see him on TV now, I can't keep from laughing!
Ah, The DynCorp booth...I still have those plastic cactus margarita glasses. :) I had fun working the exhibit hall. Sitting around, "makin' copies"...getting Loretta a coke...boy I sure was busy. :D
