Awesome photo. It is one of those that makes you
say, "I wish I had shot that picture".

Congrats!

Case Tractors

this was raffled, a guy in Indianapolis won it but never picked it up, we then sold it to a man in Redwood Falls, Mn

To Big! You got to be kidding. You goofy, you can always cut it in half to get it in the pan!
Bring it to me, I will cook it some how.

That looks like me on Grandma's lap. If it is, this would have been in 1947! Great picture!

Nice to have a long reach. I have a PanaFZ7 (replaced a FZ2). With the FZ7 your get 15.7X optical (~ 570mm) if you step the sensor down to 4MP. However its a bit of guesswork using the EVF (real weakness for me).

One of my recent examples of stretching out --

Still browsing and appreciating your handiwork and organisation. Do you haven any more recent photos from about the same position? Thanks for all your efforts.

Sorry, don't get to Waterloo much except for HS reunions and never get time for much serious photography of the city

You have lots of wonderful flower photos. This is one that had great appeal for me. You must have a lovely garden.

Perhaps you would like to squiz at this flower photo. Took it yesterday while walking the dog. Very straggly succulent poking through a fence - didnt realise what I had until up on the monitor

That is a magic moment. Very nice. Thanks

Actually it was a fleeting moment from across the pond which I almost missed with my 70-300mm Tamron.

Looks like a bit of "man-scaping" was most likely necessary !!

Look out Paris Hilton !! THAT'S HOT

Hi Wayne -- Thanks for putting these pictures in here. We used to visit Ames a lot when I was little when we went to visit Grandpa (Martin Jensen) and Uncle Dean's family. My parents (Ray and Gerry) went to college here. I was born in Ames, so I have always had an affinity for this place.
