Not a sight we see over here. In March (our autumn) we had 15 consecutive days of 35C plus (most close to 40) - pretty hot and a record for us.

Where are we? I say on 4th St (Trolley Tracks) at Sycamore St, ( Blacks Corner) as Layafette St. had tracks on it. Where is the Class Of 55 when you need them?

You forgot the Palace, which became the Waterloo Theatrer (Across from Blacks on Sycamore St) They found out the Strand was easier to remodel than to tear down. There is a Gentlemans Cinema up the block however.

They also felt sorry for us as they have remodeled and added an ELEVATOR for us older folks that had a hard time with those beautiful stairs .

2008 will be last year of Longfellow Grade School as the W'loo School Board voted to close it. The Building could be revived as the new EXPO HIGH SCHOOL and close Hawthorne Building as Expo is now there .

The "New Construction" was done on the Vine St Side of the Building, moving the Administration Offices away from these doors, you don't have to go up the stairs to now get to the Offices. This is still a great picture of a Great School .
