Hi! Big fan of your YT channel here. I recommend using much larger rollers (like the mesh kind with the snap on covers) and using less of them. Put them on wet hair with a smoothing product and try to make it as taut as possible. Remove the rollers and style once dry. That should give you big loose waves that last.
Here's a tutorial to easy roller setting on curly hair. There're 2 parts. (she uses the ponytail method)
If you just want looser curls, i suggest doing french braid pigtails on damp hair and letting it dry completely before taking them down. (i.e. a braid out)

Hi Kiari! Yes, I am going to invest in some big rollers soon to try and get waves. :) I think that is the best course of action and I will definitely take pics if I end up doing that...
I have tried french braid braid outs, but my hair will take more than a day to dry in the braids, so I end up taking them out early and they become curly again!!
