wow - nice angle and love the 4 pink ones as a background to the red / maroon one....as you can see - i am not naming names - cause i dont:
A). know what they are...
B). know how to spell it, if i did know what it was...

Downpour

sorry....this is beautiful! As you see it is the last comment, it is because it was the first one i jumped on from the thumbnails. usually i start in the begining and work my way through, but saw this tumbnail and had to see it...all the colorful flowers and 1 rainy one, i guess that kind of shows my personality...attracted to the different, and well - im only happy when it rains...

Exploring a small planet

Susan,

It's actually a garden myth that peonies need ants on them in order for the buds to open properly. It will open just as well with or without the ants.

The ants do serve a purpose though. They eat insects that would otherwise harm the peonies.

When peonies are in bud they secrete a sweet sap which attracts the ants. The ants come for the sap and also take care of harmful insects.

The downside is that peony bud sap also attracts wasps.

I'm feral! Deal with it.

You're obviously into WoW seriously. I had a trial run and got to level 9 before time got best of me. Loved playing the game, but haven't yet made the transition to WoW junkie. I know once Itart I'll have no spare time at all.

Instead I started playing Oblivion (once I got a new laptop that could handle the graphics) and that's addictive enough. Awesome graphics and I like the ability t play solo. I think if you're going to play an on-line game you need to be fully commited so as not to let your team mates down....and there goes the spare time.

Thank you thank you Steve!! :) I'm happy you like these... I began to think my continuous flower shots had gotten too boring for my visitors.
