I notice your comments about Ketchikan being a rainy place. I visited Milford Sound in New Zealand and their annual rainfal is 7 metres! Our annual rainfall in Australia is 30 inches!

I love taking shots like this too, tracking the sun in the few minutes it takes to go actually go down over the horizon. It dissappears very quickly doesn't it?
