im so happy i found my self on this site and found out about you loving your nappy hair...i had gone naturel for 5yrs once then permed it,because of my tender scalp....and end up perming it for manageabilty...then cut of all my hair because of the lack of care to my hair lack of unexperience hair stylist and the scalp tenderness of getting a wash every single week....now that it has been a year of naturel COURSE hair the hair doesnt seem to grow as fast as it did before...front of my head has missig hair spots from braids...i spead about 150for weave..cant stand it because of the constant head tapping of itch...on going story..but to cut it short [not a fan of locs]but a fan of stregth THANKS for the courage ill keep it up and see what happends...by the way im 22..my mother haaaair is permed and looks great she continuesly tells me to perm it and follow her to her stylist shes the best...i siply foregot the procedures i use to preform when i was younger with naturel....im thinking it was much E-Z-er maybe because i barely cared it was easier to manage from box braid to the other.... And im not sure if its just me the braiding[braiders] were much more talented
