55 Chevy after first trip to Goodguys!

The wheels are 17x7 and 17x8 with 4.5 inch backspace. The rearend is out of a 68 nova and I understand it is slightly narrower. It would be a tight fit otherwise (It is still pretty snug.) Thanks for the compliments!!!

55 Chevy... Big toy model kit!!!

Great job, I have a 55 i'm currently working on and at the painting phase. It looks like in your photos the vehicle is painted minus holes for all the moldings. did you fasten them with a different method or am I just missing them in the photo's? My 55 is an original 150 sedan with no holes and would rather not drill holes if possible. Let me know if you have a good solution if possible. Your car is exceptional and makes me want to finish mine soon.

Now you've done it. I was convinced that I should paint my 55 B/A H.T. red and white, and now I see your car and again, solid red looks awesome on a B/A H.T. It looks fantastic!! You sure make things hard on a guy. This little debate has been going on in my head for over a year, you may have changed my mind, AGAIN!

Great job!

Thanks! Looks fancier than it is. I have plywood shelfs and discarded dressers mounted to the wall and covered with plywood doors and paint. Sure is better than looking at all the junk behind the doors!
