My dad worked as service manager at a goodyear store in the 60's the Bonilla bros. worked for him. They would work on the car after hours at the shop I was probally 5-7 yrs old. I remember 1 of them wiping off thje chrome straight axel before putting it back in the car and my dad saying "man your just gonna get that thing all oily anyway just put it in!". I used to lust after that 57! They were from northern Il.
Awesome to hear your story!!!! Thanks for writing. I would love to hear comments from others that know history on these cars. It is great to build a database of all things Tri-Five gasser!! If you or anyone else have gasser photos you would like to see here, please email them to me at anderegypt@aol.com
