    No...it needs to be cut into the masonry line of the brick..the method shown is for other applications..stucco,siding, etc.  Make sure to fill cut in line with NP1.

    I'm not sure, but I think that this is the 12th hole. I'm walking through the scorecard -- it could be the 4th tee shot, I guess.
