I was a LW male on the Oregon State rowing team in the late '60s under coach Karl Drlica. In 1952 he was one of the first to establish a female rowing program. The women (and naughty gulls) in this extraordinary photograph exemplify the unlimited spirit and freedom that Drlica had and what he meant to us who rowed.

I will always remember the first time I saw this photo. Life has never been the same for our family. Imagine! just from this one photo. Thanks to the great photographer, Eldon has been able to experience alot of great things in his young life and family also.
