Welcome to Raceway Park

wow! looking at all these pictures, the memories just flow in my head of all the good time at raceway park with my father ted. him and i lived at the place. he knew a lot of drivers and the mechanics, so we were always in the pits after the races.wish they never would of torn it down. still sad when i pass the area and it is no longer there but i can still visualize it so clear in my head.
i'd swear we'd be the first ones there. my dad had to sit in the same place every time we went.just under the announcer box, so many good times.

James Bond - Jerry Lewis

This was one of my least favorite Danny Colyer cars. Was this suppose to be a tribute to Richard Petty?

Hey I know that guy lol. look at that move going on the inside and holding his line he is going for the lead and the checkered flag. That car has speed written all over it.

Don't you just love a convertable,Too bad they don't run them around here no more. But they still do in Michigan and Florida. They should let them run at Illiana and Grundy

It was the 300 lapper. Para pulled up with a flat with a couple to go and Middleton won.

Bud Kaye

Anyone remember the white Levi's bell-bottomed pit crew of Bud Kaye's in the 1970's???

The purple shirts were the icing on that cake.....

Old school high-fashion at Raceway Park.
