WOW... Brenda,,, you got this one just right!!! Gary
==========================
Thanks Gary.
It was kind of exciting doing these shots. We climbed down and went under a bridge and sat on some rocks right at the edge of the water. I just kept praying that there wasnt a sudden rush of water coming off the mountains or I would be swept away and over a drop off.

great possie, nice & close to the action

could I be a pain and ask you put more pics on a page, like 80 to 100, it makes it easier to browse large albums?
================================
Yes, I thought it was great that they did not chain it off back further. The cars just were going fast enough in the corners to worry about anything happening.
Sure I will change the picture amount. It not a pain. I should have done that along time ago, most of my albums have like 100 or more shots. I will go do that right now.

start em young!
=========================
Most of the people in my son's car club are young and dont have kids, but the ones that do have kids, they always bring them to the events, and the kids are very involved. Helping set up for the show, shinning the wheels, and then someone at the show usually has a dvd player or video game console stuck in their car somewhere so when the kids get bored they just send them over to that persons car to keep them occupied.............lol

heh, heh, yeah my oldest son doesn't even have his liscence yet, but my youngest boy won his division in the Sound Off at the Kandos Street Car event this year, quite choofed he was!

I like the steering wheel on the dash bit!
===============================
This car belongs to one of the guys in my son's car club. A lot of the club does that for show purposes. The guy that owns this car wants me to do a photo shoot of his car.

=======

woo hoo, your professional career has started!!

Have you heard of Marcus Ambrose, he's an Aussie trying his hand at Nascar and doing ok for a rookie. Who knows, he might ask you next?!!

looks like you were panning here, because the backgrounds blurred but the car is sharp?
======================================
I was panning all the time, but I soon realized that drifting is not a real fast sport. Most of them did not go over 70mph at any given time. Though 70 into a corner is rather fast.............lol

yeah & hooning down the main straight & then right hand down - HARD!!

This is one of the spots that I could shoot and not get the fence.

elvis presley car? It's teeny
==========================
Yeah Im not to keen on the Toyota Yaris. The lad in this picture was one of my son's friends from his car club. I was trying to take a shot of this car and I kept seeing his hands in the shot, so I panned over to see what the heck he was doing and realized that they had told him he needed to pose like the girls modeling against a car and he did, so I snapped the shot. My son posted this shot on his car club forum last night..................lol

========

they're lucky to have a keen shutterbug like you around. Like Mike with his sports groups at the school are lucky to have him.

drift patrol? I thought he'd been in a bingle, but looks like not
=============================
We never saw this one run, although we did see a motor all torn apart on the ground by a trailer it was sitting next to so maybe it was his.

bummer when you have to shoot through a fence eh
==========================
Yes I know I was so mad about this. There was spots in the bleachers where you could squeeze in a few shots and miss the fence but not many. I would loved to have been with the media they were down in the middle of the track with nothing obstructing their view, I so wanted to mug one of them when they were walking by and steal their media vest...............lol

========

yeah I know what you mean, they get the best spots eh
