Did you ever get the color photo of this car. Would love to see it if you did. Please post it here or e-mail it to me if that is possible. I am from Windsor and love the old SLM photos on this site. Especially ones from Checker Flag. THANKS for the work you have done here.
Jim Hallahan had one of these exact cars, except it was green with the same number, same style number and red and white paint scheme. Could this be one of his?
John, I was looking for NY State gassers(the Funny Farmer) in paticular when your page popped up. That is a great looking model of the truck. You see I am about ready to start building a pro-street verison of the Funny Farmer. I live in Medina, NY and rumor has it the orginal willys pick up is about 8miles for my house. I still have to check it out. A updated version of the truck can be seen on the Sunday Niagara site along with many other gasser from Western New York and Canada. If you have pictures of the Funny Farmer may I trouble youfor a copy as I only have the one from the aformentioned site, Thanks and continue on with your outstanding work. Bob
This Mo Carter 69 Trans Am Camaro is restored and racing in California. Any pictures or info on it's history is appreciated. email or phone 909-794-7905.
One of Buddy Arrington's Imperials. He used this paint scheme for the last couple of runs in the car during early 1985. By May he was driving used T-Birds he bought from Bill Elliot, but Buddy's efforts were running out of suppport and desire at that point.
Ramo Stott's 75 Road Runner. Tried to qualify for several CUP races but never made the cut. Did okay on the ARCA and USAC circuit though. Like the 78-79 T-Bird and Cordoba, its as aerodymanic as a barn!
I would love to get a colour copy of this pic as well as any others you have of Jr. Hanley. I am a huge fan and wish he would come back to race again. Got to see him alot in the Sunoco series the last couple years. Being from Windsor, alot of the races were not too far from here to go to. Only a couple hours at the most. Hope to see the pics on here of Hanley or send them to my e-mail if that is easier. Probably easier for me but whatever you like. Thanks, Ron Nelson (hanley_72)
