He was one of the best man I have never known. He was like a father to me, he will talk to me about school and tell me to stay focus and worry them BOYS LATER. He was the closest friend to my family. when my brother and I first came to the US, he was the first person who came to meet us at the airport. he was there before my mother and sister. He is the one who paid for my brother ticket. He was so generous to me. He had helped so much. he paid for one of my semester tuition. I used to talk to him every day. I MISS HIM SO MUCH... I sTILL CANT BELIEVE THAT HE IS GONE. He promised me that he was going to give me away when I find Mr. Right and walked down the Aisle.I was going to stay with him in Miami in when I get transferred to UM. Now, what am I going to do? I LOVED THIS MAN LIKE MY OWN FATHER. IM STILL CRYING. I CANT BELIEVE IT. IM STILL HURT. REST IN PEACE LOVE MARIE CARMELLE

This car looks like a toy car. Seems to me it shouldn't be on the highway by trucks and trailers. It should be used for the same thing like golf course cars.

What a great shot. Reminds me of my dad's place in Beverly hills , California. I will soon send you some pictures of Bel air and Beverly hills . Great Job Pikliz !!!!!!!!!
I am pretty sure by now many of you have noticed that the " comment section " of " Pikliz" has been closed (off & on). " Pikliz" and its staff are deeply sorry. We take this opportunity to apologize to our visitors around the globe for the inconvenience.
What I am not so sure is perhaps many of you are not aware that someone (we do know his identity very very well) has been posting comments on the site that are prejudiced, derogatory, denigrating, illegal and sexist in nature . To make matter worse, this individual used profane and obscene language to express himself. His behavior is unethical and uncivilized.
All it takes is one bad apple to spoil our joy.
Posting comments on " Pikliz " is not a right, It is simply a privilege. It is a service that " Pikliz " provides to its visitors. Perhaps, someone may see a picture of an old pal and be thrilled. As a result, a comment is posted. Others simply enjoy reading them.( I know I have ).
" Pikliz " does not object at all to anyone posting a comment. One may do so, express his or her views even if they are contrary and / or contradictory to our own or someone else's. One may post a " plaisanterie ". As a matter of fact " Pikliz " would really like to see that : for instance a clean debate, or a back and forth take between 2 pals that have not seen each other for years. However this must be done respectfully and ethically. " Pikliz " is a link that connects everyone.
" Pikliz " is not about " GOSSIP ". It's not about what is taking place into someone' s private life. It's not about denigrating a writer, a musician, an artist, a politician or anyone else. " Pikliz " aim is to inform, enlighten and entertain each and everyone.
To this " INDIVIDUAL" in the BRONX, N.Y. (VERIZON Client) posting those comments, we do know your identity. Your actions are despicable and uncivilized. You may continue to visit the site if you want ( although deep in our heart we would prefer if you don' t ). However, refrain from posting your comments.
They simply will be deleted with a click of the mouse. The entire staff of " Pikliz" is watching you around the clock.

Bubu.... Good hearing from you. We need to solve other issues now. It is true we have this problem, it is true we are not about to spend time on it since our people is yearning from attention and their everyday lunch and so on..Let's get them food, employment and teach them how to read first. Please let's move on...too many distractions from the real problems. By the way good subject.. Hope others participate.

Hi Bubu This is a nice subject of discussion and i think you are absolutely right. By experience, a teacher that speaks creole in class will be able to transmit the message better than another one who speaks French. Writing creole is not my thing but creole has his rules and orthograph. Who ever wants to learn it can do so by buying books. I am taking this opportunity to share with all readers that creole is spoken by more than 15 millions people all over the world. It's a very impressive number. Isn't it?

I am using a comment made in creole on Claude Marcelin's album as a springboard to launch a debate so to speak. It should not be directed to him ( I think he is a great guitarist) nor to the anonymous person who made the comment. I want to BE CLEAR on that.
The comment is written in creole as you all can see. I do not have a problem with that. ( Chacun a sa façon de voir les choses). Personally I never learned how to read or write creole. ( it's a bit difficult for me to read it although I speak it fluently, after all I am Haitian 100%). For those who visit pikliz, do you think it should be taught in school in Haiti and / or used as an auxiliary means of communication to teach in school ?
My position on that ( I am sure many folks will disagree with me) is creole should not be taught in school. It could be used to explain certain subject (either math - chemistry - or physics etc) but it should not be considered as our language. I am against the fact the Haitian Passport and some of our Currencies are in 2 languages ( french and creole). All comments are welcome.
PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF OTHERS READING THE COMMENTS. Respect OTHERS. I will used a pseudonym to make it interesting.
Comments can either be posted in English, French or Creole. Lets make this an interesting debate using pikliz.com as a link that is connecting everyone regardless of their point of view and background.
Thank you.
P.S. I want to reiterate again that my comment is no way intended to insult anyone (Ti Claude and the person who posted the comment.) By the way , I hope you are doing well Ti Claude). We like to hear from you . Drop a line sometimes: Français , Kreol , English (rire).
Bubu.
