Marie Louise
I was able to make the connection and I hope that I am right.Your mom was my teacher in 5th and 6th grade (8eme et 7eme)and I remember you jumping rope in the yard during "recreation time". You were about three grades behind me.You also had an older brother if I remember correctly.

I was in the company of a sizeable group of old lalue students yesterday. It was a real pleasure to reconnect with them. I was espacially please to realize that the foundation giving by the sisters was not lost. Meaning the purpose of that meeting was to form an organization dedicated to giving back to our haitian society through the work of the sisters of Saint Joseph the Cluny. It was a revelation to me, that a few us dollars could enable 17 kids to go to school for a year. I have been looking for a way to give back to my haitian society, I am happy to say that I have found my niche. I invite anyone connected to Lalue in any way, shape or form to contact Josette Cantave. Some of the ladies such as Josette have already started the work unofficially, it was their initiative to form an organization because it will allow us to send more then a couple of hundred a year to the sisters. I am all for it, because together we could accomplish a lot.
