if you're looking for a drive in this area ( kind of) do calgary to Vancouver, that is spectacular. we did that drive then went to reddeer from calgary, I was bored out of my skull, it was awful :-))

thank god we did it in the summer though, canada in the winter is not to be messed with!!!!
