Dear Oleg, I am a writer researching a play which involves one of the characters going to Bright Angel Point. Your pictures are lovely but I wonder if you could send me a brief description of Bright Angel Point itself. The questions I need answers to are: 1. When you stand on the point itself are there guardrails/safety rails or is it just an open drop to the canyon below. 2. Am I right in thinking the North rim does not have as many visitors as the South rim. 3. What facilities are there? Is there a Hotel? I would be most grateful if you could spare the time to answer these questions. I live and work in the UK and a trip to Arizona is out of the question at the moment I'm afraid. I enjoyed your web page. Many thanks, Jane Collins
Nice framing of the hoodoos through the window. How far along on the Peekaboo Loop trail was this spot? My wife, my daughter, & I will be doing this hike in early April 2003. At what time did you start, how long did it take you,did you begin by going down the Navaho Loop trail, did you climb back out the Navahoo Loop or the Queen's Garden trail? Did you eat lunch along the way? Your comments on your experience hiking this trail would be most welcome.
