I currently use 1:1 urethane resin from a seller on ebay, and it also has a fast setup time, around 2mins with a A/C room. I found chilling the bottles in the fridge for a hour or two, allows me to get a extra 1-2 mins..thats pretty valuable time!
In the end i have about 4mins to pour, mix..pour into molds...and setup the pressure pot.
Theres another seller on ebay with urethane resin in 10:1 form, but it has a 20min setup time!
And you are right, humidity and ambiant temp. plays a HUGE roll in casting, my 1:1 urethane (16oz) mold rubber, has a 10min pot life..but due to the summer heat in a NON a/c room..it kicked in at 3mins, i barely had enough time to setup the pressure pot, to pop them bubbles, but i got lucky and only had 1-2 bubbles.
i saw a post on another message board that you had a blueprint for an auto oil change pit. if you don't mind bro could you email that to me i would be very apprechitive, i'm trying to put two bays in my shop. thanks.
