There is a made for tv movie being worked on about Jimmy and that day by Global Entertainment and Media with Susan Gordon, Dallas and the Duncan family, Dave. We all think of him. Great pic..Do you have more? If so Email mailto:rgd@xsn24.com .
When I announced up at Hangtown, uh, er, Placerville (76-77), I learned a lot from guys like Gary. I always used time trials as a chance to give drivers' sponsors and build up a bit of excitement.
I was a close friend of Jimmys in the sixties and I still miss him.We used to go to a bar on Fulton on play Cardinal Puff.We would go the The Wearehouse on the corner and dance our heads off. What a shame.Still thinking of you Jimmy............
Thanks for posting, Marty. The Early Hot Wheels stuff is pretty cool. I don't have too much, my collection is mostly late 80s and early 90s, with some 70s thrown in that my brother got then. I wish Hot Wheels had done some NASCAR stuff from this time period!
A couple of years back I nailed a beat up copy of the case at a local show for IIRC $5. I don't trust the lock enough to store cars in it but I am happy to have it.
