the grainy texture of the mud is very vivid here... and the slant of the pic makes the roads look like they go on n on

the beams on the roof are the only aligned part of the room....its full of so much else, looks like a garage in an American home

the moon seems to mirror yr flash :)

and the spires look like la tour eiffel...paris by night on the other side of the globe

the setting is so plain n worn and he looks so enthused with it....

the woman has stopped walking while the man paces up to her,

she doesn seem to know him but yr caption "man and woman" binds them together in a way

there is an expanse of water between the boat thts at the port and the one waiting in queue...and the lady in the queued boat is looking at the port, waiting as if, to get there

i like the flash of sunlight outside behind him.... seems like a greener on the other side kinda look, darkness within, sunshine outside...and he looks like he has parted the dark to bring in light....

the imbalance of light lends a strange focus here....

the animal is there yet not quite readily visible

the ppl are dwarfed behind the boat....seems like man's invention has overshadowed him...

the silhouettes are very sharp, adds strong character

this is a good one....the b/w tones also play up on the steady stare....

hv u deliberately blurred out the shrubbery around the water to focus on the animal? if so, then fine, else the vegetation looks hazy

Nicola, first of all let me thank you for you kind comments on my Burma album. They led me to your Burma album which I enjoyed watching. What an amazing country! Your "angled" shots definitely add character to the photos. Keep experimenting. Looking at some of your shots was like going back to Burma again.

I like this one, because of the sun you have to look very closely, and the feeliing coming from the picture iis changing according how close you look at it.
