I've mentioned to you before about what sets you apart from so many more "technically proficient" photographers and DigitalWorldPhotography's comments illustrate my point. There was no need for you to "tell a story" since God and nature had already written "the story" and merely used your eye and soul as the conduit to record it for the rest of us to "see"....This remains one of my favorite photos of yours.
I cannot but join the chorus - beautiful night shot. Sharp, colorful, and perfectly captures the spirit of the town as I remember it. Slanting left a tiny bit, but that doesn't spoil the impression.
Lively reflection, vague and suggestive. Something exotic, like an elephant or giraffe, but at the same time delicate as lace. I wish the water was cleaner, there's too much junk floating by. Oleg
"Alone in the clouds all blue Lying on an eiderdown. Yippee! You can't see me But I can you. Lazing in the foggy dew Sitting on a unicorn. No fair, you can't hear me But I can you"
Beautiful picture...... I really love this album and your story of the pear tree....... we should all plant a tree....... we planted a plum tree in our garden years ago, and have a nice crop of plums in the autumn.........Happy New Year, Napomo
