Excellent observation ... although he has the same silhouette as my "lil brother" this dog was a stranger to me. But yes, you are so right, that's freedom and Nelson and me are very spoiled where it comes to this. Most people think having the choice between 42 sorts of crappy soft drinks and 42 sorts of crappy yoghurts in the supermarket is freedom ... I prefer the kind of freedom that means being able to take daily long walks in nature with my unleashed happy dog.
I recently visited my son in Berlin ... we had to drive 35km daily just to be able to provide doggy with his daily unleashed walk. Berlin is a big city, but I felt like a finch in a birdcage.
