I saw Bob Riggles stand this bad boy on its tail in Columbus at the Mopar Nat's in the '90's. Great show, nice guy. I have an autographed pic. I race a '65 Dodge Coronet. Boy, the good old days are missed, bracket racing just ain't the same! Going to the big events and seeing the big names were some of the finest times of my life. At 62 years of age, I still wish some things hadn't changed. The gasser wars, funny cars and old diggers were and are un-parallelled.
Jim left us way too soon and the world's drag-racing fans were stunned in September of 1977. Thanks to Pam and all the guys/gals who keep the memories of the world's greatest funny car pilot alive. Pam was certainly one of the finer attractions during drag racing's golden years. Jim was a very astute and lucky man.
I'm curious to know why the pipe sticking out from the turbo goes over the chassie rail and down under neath the rail. On my models I normaly hve this pipe going down and under the cab then spliting into two and up through the stacks
