I know I commented on this before but having just returned from Australia and constantly seeing signs warning of crocs and stingers I am curious if it's not a problem for the dogs? (like you could stop them from going into the water on a hot day!) LOL
Hi Merlin these are close but I don't think they are the same. Having just returned from Down under, I don't think people have to be good gardeners there to have bright colorful gardens! EVERYTHING seems to grow and flower well there. Might have something to do with all of the sunshine! I know you you guys really need more rain... it was near 40C the day we left Sydney for home!
Merlin, according to your graphs, we are not in the worst shape. Compering to first half of last millennium, we are on the Chill Side of Global Worming.

I looked at this information after checking Hadley CRU data for the last 150 years and in particular the last decade. As you state looks like we are warming but on the end of a substantial cooling period. It means I am getting a little confused about the "solution" to the looming environmental changes.
Taken at a conservation park 100km south of Adelaide - a very large open area of hundreds of hectares which simply provides a bit of a refugee for them. They can enter or leave according to their whim - they leap tall fences very easily.
I am glad Fotki have started to implement some communication updates however I am hoping that they also followed this with an automatic message to member who started the thread. Since I leave quite a few queries, comments and havent received anything back I assume they havent gone the next step.
