Wooow, I would really like to know what was the outcome of all your work installing your navigation. In this pic it looks good, but does it work fine? or have you had any electrical or computer problems after the installation? I can see that you lowered the AC control unit and removed the trim division between both units, but what type of comman did you use to fit it in there? and does the face it stick out a lot?... I bought a 98 c230 very well maintained in which I'd love to put a navigation system, but I want to get as much information before I do it. Please let me know here. I mean, I hope you're still around and doing well. Thanks MGM
Liquid and clean. I like them better on only mid and treble horns. They're a bit 'thin' on the Klipsch La Scala bass horn ; but that's most likely because of the low impedance of them. The Dukanes I have however are fantastic on the Bass horns.
This internet viewable photo was resized from the full rez version to 800px wide. I've come to the conclusion Fotki does a terrible job resizing as it doesn't properly re-sample and oversharpens; compare this to the same version of this in this gallery that I exported from Lightroom at 800px wide, thereby preventing Fotki from resizing it. Notice the jaggies in this photo; notice the hairs in this version that transition from white to black a few times not seen in the other photo resized by Lightroom right to 800px wide. ... this is a travesty for anyone who takes their photos seriously!
This is the version of the photo that was resized by Lightroom directly to 800px wide, preventing Fotki from kicking in its "resize" feature. This photo is perfect to the original, where single long white hairs remain white and do not transition from white to black a few times like the other version of this image in this gallery that was resized by Fotki is found to do.
This photo has lots of appeal - it has painting like elements. I assume taken while moving so high shutter speed desirable, bit of shame about vehicle shadow but irrespective it is a very appealing photo of a lovely vista.
Thanx for the comment. You hit the nail on the head on many accounts. I even cropped a lot of the Land Rover shadow out, and it whould have been a higher shutter speed. I hope you had a look at all the photos in this particular album. There are a few like it but better IMO.
