i've been searching the net for how to build die cast cars and yours is the perfect most ideal presentation i've found....i've got addicted on this kind of stuff and i've got all the informations and tips i need to start on building model cars from ur website...thank you so much..i can't wait to start!
I see you have a model of this little known experiment also. I saw a picture and story of it's restoration about 5 years ago in Circle Track I think. Since I'm a fan of little known or "one offs", about 3 months later my own #28 Lumina was on the shelf. Great "bar bet"/argument starter.According to the article, Ford told Davey they weren't to happy and to get rid of it.(my words)This is the only model, besides mine, I've seen. Happy modln', Tiny.
Excellent!!Looks great!! And between you and Bill C., alot of great tips. Also MAJOR PROPS for building a little remembered drivers car. Tiny was one of the true pioneers of the sport and a role model equal to Ned Jarrett and Richard Petty when it came to fans. He became my favorite driver when I had the honor of meeting him as a 8 year old in 1962. My little freinds grew so tired of hearing me talk about him so much, they started calling me Tiny. And at 51 years old now, it's still my nickname. I surely miss him. You can be proud of this build though, even if it was primer. Keep up the fun. Tiny.

This is a great looking car. Someday I'm going to actually have to build me a copy, for some reason I'm not so sure of I'm a big Phil Barkdoll fan :) Billy
