Great angle and I like the visual comparison of the two major vertical elements.

On some of those very hot days we have had, it would be great to be down wind of one of these waterfalls.

A very refreshing contrast.

Great series. These are probably some of the best I have seen of these waterfalls, including the TV coverage.

Did you see where some idiots in a kayak got to close to one of the waterfalls and got swamped? It looked on TV like it might have been this one.

Thanks Peirce, very nice of you to say so. Hadn't heard about the guys in the kayaks but it doesn't surprise me at all.

It's Good To Be A Sloth

Looks like a crusty wedge of cheddar cheese he's gnawing on...but probably a carrot slice or something.

You got it. A carrot slice.

Three-toed Sloth (Bradypus tridactylus...probably). I was hoping to get a look at the front feet.

I'll bet sloth milk is not easy to come by....even in Costa Rica. It's cool that they are being protected. My assumption is that these were orphans or possibly mother rejects.

Is that an actual waterfall? Or just like a construction mishap? Ha ha ha.
