On Febuary 2001 at the Daytona 500 I saw a legend pass on to be lifted up to a better place. I was watching the race at one of my friends house. We saw the wreck it looked very bad, but we thought Dale would surely walk away from it. Later that night they had highlights of the race, thats when we heard that Dale had passed on. I couldn't believe what they said, but it was true. He was my favorite race car driver and still is today, he will live forever. I have been searching the web for the last three days, trying to find anything like a picture of the wreck or a movie clip, i've found pictures but no movie clips. Well it was a sad day indeed, but Dale Earnhardt #3 will live on forever.
