This seafood restaurant by the water has that typical beach-house feel. The fresh octopus is even strung up for decoration ... though I'm not sure if they sell it after it's been hanging around

Nice Pic. I have one almost identical but without the bottles as it was off season and not service time at time of shot. Did you know that this restuarant is in the film Bourne Identity? At the end I think when they reunite. Just some trvia for ya! Looks like you had a fab time travelling as I am.

This gondola took us from Chamonix up to the highest peak in this photo. From there we took another one over a glacier to the Italian border

Great shot.

Are you the John Bek, the adventurer?

I would have left a message in your guest book, but couldn’t access it. Not sure if you’re aware that FOTKI have changed the default settings for the guest books so that they're only available to FOTKI friends, unless you go into your account settings for guest books and change it back to public. … Unfortunately we have some idiots who make inappropriate comments, but you can just delete them. http://about.fotki.com/whats_new/ Cheers

Rapti River cruise

Nice, very tranquil.
U did not use tripod did'nt you?

I was sitting in a small boat, a tripod wouldn't have made any difference here
