I had the immeasurable pleasure of knowing Fadjur when he was in his early 20's. My husband and I lived just down the highway from the Tone Ranch and we visited often, just to see the horses. We eventually bought a mare from them although we never got the chance to breed her back to a Fadjur son as we had planned. Fadjur was a fantastic horse, very beautiful and one of the sweetest horses you'll ever meet. The breed lost a great stallion when he died, but has seen his grace and beauty passed on through his sons, daughters, grand-foals, ad inifitum... To you, Pappy, wherever you are in heaven.
Hi, im the owner of a grandaughter of farazdac. Her father is Fareef. i was just wondering if you could send me a copy of Farazdacs pedigree and also a color picture. Thank you very much. Anastacia Torre
I've added in the information about Jalila. She was a 1922 grey mare by Skowronek (Ibrahim x Jaskolka) and out of Rasima (Daoud x Rose of Hind). She was exported to Spain from the United Kingdom.
I have a daughter of his that looks just like him! Even down to the very prominent jibbah! Is there anyone else that has a baby of his still living? I tried and tried to get information about her breeders, finally tracked them down but, they apparently didn't remember her or something. If there is someone out there who has this type of breeding please email me, I am interested in how his other get turned out. Thanks!
I bought Cassini in late February of 2005, and he is developing into an absolutely gorgeous young horse. sweet natured, kind, and so smart. what movement he has! in everything he does, he continues to exceed my expectations. he's not rose grey any longer though, he's a light silver-grey, with very dark points.
