Sorry but while the model is beautiful, the 5 car is wrong. We never ran a coupe body on either car. When we were running the old Blue Flame six in the 49 bodies, we ran the two door sedan, not the coupe. The only coupe I remember running with us was the J-2. The truck is great! We had a chevy 283 in it. It pulled the 6 car on a trailer and the 5 car was towed with the wrecker.
This car was a team car to the #5 driven by Eddie Morgan. The cars were run out of Justus Pontiac-Buick in Rock Hill. This was during the early to mid sixties and I was one of the mechanics and builders of these cars. These cars (V8's) were run mostly at the old dirt track at Concord, NC. I believe we ran Concord on Saturday nights and different tracks around SC and NC on Fridays (but it has been a long time ago and I am not sure exactly which night Concord ran). Later, the car was driven by Harold Dunaway.
