nope, i understand. i can't stand the hair dryer but i either better cut my locks or embrace it. mature locks need to be dried out, period. it's turning into a lot of work...which goes against the reason i locked(freedom)
I air-dried every time I could, but in the winter, if I didn't blow-dry (don't hate me), I just washed it early in the day and hoped it would be dry enough by the time I went to bed.
This method did NOT work that well, and to be honest, it was one of the reasons why I got so "tired" of my locs. I thought it would just keep getting worse as they got longer. I wish I'd had more patience.
Biggest difference...they're just not the same. I had to go with something totally different or else I think I would forever compare the two sets to each other. I miss my first, I think I always will. But I think these are growing on me more as they mature and fatten. I love the fullness of this set versus the others though.
