I don't know why these were named "Purple Finches"...when they are so obviously red.  Beautiful shot of a pair of 'em. 

Great shot!  I love bird-watching.  I have seen these in our yard.  For a long time....I thought Sparrows were all the same.

This is the pipe that started it all! It goes from the surface, down to a shut off valve on the water pipe leading into my house. It was twisted so badly, they could get the long key down to the shut off valve... so they had to dig that big ol' hole!!
