The land was reclaimed in the late C19th/ early 20th centuary mainly to build docks which are to the South and West of the walls.

The first walls on the West of the town were built in the 14th centuary after an attack by the French during the 100 years war.

Hi there can you tell me how deep the blue lagoon actually is, i cant find this information anywhere on the net, i quite often come swimming here when i visit st, davids but nobody seems to know many thanks.

Yes. All the modern stuff in this photo was pulled down for the West Quay centre.

Not! It's part of a display. Two jets fly close together then split to form the pattern, a third came through after this shot was taken to form an arrow through the heart.
