From what I understand, the 07 vic and the old caprice run very similar times. Not the case when comparing the hemi against the 07 vic

A buddy of mine with San Diego Sheriffs says they're all engine and brakes. FAST! A bit cramped though.

This is probably the best looking Dinosuar unit I've seen. I remember when they had a maroon Ford Tempo with an oversized Street Hawk. It was pretty ugly....

I loved those old Federal sirens, especially those that pulsated. Nothing echoed down the streets of New York like a racing NYPD radio car from the '60's and '70's. Sure do miss them!

That's news to me. I haven't heard of ANY complaints about the performance/reliability on the new Chargers. Only thing I have heard other officers say is "be really careful when backing, can't see in the blind spot". You will be seeing LOTS more of these cars.

And an odd representation too, not a fire car but fire marshal -- in Delaware all fire marshals are full law enforcement officers from the state police academy right along with troopers and have full police powers.

i think the charger handles better that the caprice, and almost as fast....but the brakes are terrible after a while and the front end needs to be rebuilt after 70k miles.

This picture is missing the Tracker (speed timing device) that is now mounted where the microphones are.

i always liked this color, notice the numbers on the roof......Philly didn't have a chopper then.....Rizzo ordred that.
