Dear Christel, I have just enjoyed watching the slideshow of this lovely album......brings back so many memories ,I lived in Christchurch & travelled to Akaroa many times ,in my teenage years. It is certainly a most picturesque area of New Zealand isn't it? Looks like you had a lot of good times on your trip & that you were surrounded by good company - must have had a whale of a time & lots of fun! Thank you for sharing this part of your adventure & for letting me know that you had posted your new albums - quite a massive task for you to complete ,I am sure! Wow, this is a gorgeous photo! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I actually made it. In the back ground is Mt. Cook. The photo was really bad, so instead of ditching it I played with it and this was the outcome. It looks a bit like a sunset doesn't it:)
Nice group of people. This must have been fun. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There were 12 of us and there wasn't the slightest discord for the whole 12 days, it was just great, would do it all again with the same people.
Hope you had a happy day all the same !Spent my early childhood growing up & visiting Grandparents in these areas .........bring back memories that is for sure ........
