I used the Canon 16-35 f/2.8L II for this shot. It was hand held leaning against a wall.

Didnt get a lot out of this pair. 5D still much brighter but shallow DOF and differences because of cropping made it difficult for me.

Thanks for doing this - interesting to see actual comparisons.

5D photo is warmer and brighter (& to me more pleasing). Histograms are quite different. Nothing I could could bring them completely together (only have simple editor) - 1D can be made brighter with bigger range but less attractive yellow cast altho could be more accurate.
