Ed, It was an honor to have known you! I loved and respected you as a friend and fellow racer. You taught me many things at T.I., and I will be forever grateful. You will be missed by all of us, who you touched so dearly. It's hard to fight back the tears as I write this, but I am happy for you, that you were doing what you loved in the end. You beat me many times to the finish line, and now to Heaven! Rest in peace my friend.
I raced with ed in the 80's he was like a father to me at LACR Icant hold back tears thinking of all the good times we had together and am sorry my kids didnt get to meet him. god speed ed
Ed , you touched my life and I nick named you Pops for that , I will always remember your helpfullness , your friendship , your kindness , your knowledge and your smile , kick butt with the boys in the sky , Love you your little CLRB aka Moonie
Ed, I can honestly describe you and have always described you as such a "nice and funny" guy. You and Gary G. :) You are sorely missed by our family. We are happy for the good memories of you!
Thank you Mike for this album its amazing... and thank you all for your support and kind words... I picked this photo of him to post my comment on because that is his *who me?* look I remember seeing ...followed by a quick wink just before he would hand ya yer ass on the track .. My God I'm gonna miss him... He taught me so much ..Irwindale was the first track he took me to when I was a kid about 9 years old or so for a race .. I used to go out and help him work on the cars handing wrenches etc when I was a kid too... he taught me how to ride a motorcycle .. how to drive a stick ... how to race..he was my "baby brudder" (altho im 15 years younger) ... I will miss his Bedees and his hugs ....
Hey Mike, I think it's great that you put this together, Ed was a great guy and a hero to a lot us, he will be greatly missed. Branko Sindicich is the drive of Ed's car in this picture. I remember this race very well...
