Thanks. How are the front wheels fastened on? As it is a gasser, mine has slicks on rear, and don't require repairs. The front tires are smaller, are slotted, not spoked like a rail dragster. The front wheels have serrated pins that are pressed in from behind the king pins. They still let the wheels rotate freely.I can try to take pics of my parts and send as an attachment if you need more description.
I have had one of these sitting unassembled in a box for years and years....always wondered how it would look. I wish they made it in 1/8 scale or even 1/12.
Nothing messy here. It only take about five minutes to bubble up and a light rinse with the garden hose and its clean. Only takes one application, even on this baked on paint.
this is a well deserving build o win top build . very well detailed 41 willys . i wish they would come out with better 41 . with straight axels like this build has !! great job love the color also . keep up the great work !!! clay
Thanks You! I love these Willys and this was a fun build. The door hinges are a great improvement over the dog leg type it came with.
This model has a plastic frame so it was easy. I cut the rails at the rear and heated the frame at the front spring mount and bowed the rails in some. I then added square tube styrene (the white pcs) to the inside of the rail to reconnect the frame.
