Die staat er mooi op!!!!
En dan te bedenken wat een rumoer er om dit gebouw was omdat het zou vloeken met de omgeving.

I bet the other comments are written by Americans. Geesh.

The girl in white is hot though.

I was looking for information on the Quinta de Samaiões for my website on Chaves http://www.portcult.com/index.chaves.htm , and I came across your photos. I like the one of the sabugueiro and the one above. The ideal one would have been the one that shows the hotel itself but I thought it was a bit too dark. I like this one because of the color, especially the bright red from the sabugueiro door.

I live in Chaves myself, though I am American. What nationality are you and what were you doing in Chaves? Did you possibly get married at the Quinta de Samaiones. I watched the building of that hotel. The old building was in ruins for many years. I go by it on weekends when I take my cycling route. The hill going up is a killer.
If you don't mind I have taken the liberty of putting your photo, with a link of course, on my site. You can see it at http://www.portcult.com/16.EATING3.htm. I looked for a copyright and couldn't find anything so I presume the photo is for non-profit use on the net. If not, please send me an Email.

All the best,
Ray Vogensen

Amazing how this still image appears to move because of the light dancing on the water.

I believe you are thinking of Jimmy Hendrix, from the song Puple Haze. And by the way I loved this album. Brilliant idea !!!
