This is a very unusual colour, and quite pretty. Are these light colour hybrids very difficult to accomplish? Is the final colour purposely designed, or just the final result?
I have a lophgona milii cross hybrid similar to this one. The original plant was quite small when I bought it in the Amsterdam flower market. The flowers are a deeper pink. After about four years, it is approaching almost four feet in height, though the rootball remains quite small. This, to me, is quite unusual. Most euphorbias I come across are always quite small.
I am quite amazed at the prolific nature of flower production. Most euphorbias I know tend to be smaller, and highly selective. You seem to have mastered the technique to force them to retain the fullness of their blooms.
Hello Andreu It is quite a while since I have had a look at your plants. I am very impressed with the new hybrids, which must take a big effort. I still have a few plants from the seeds you gave me. I find the euphorbias difficult to propagate.
I grow this plant as Borzicactus pseudotelegonus, and you have to lay the plant down iff you want a flower.. and this is now , Cleistocactus serpens. Cok.
