Nice collection. Is that the Advantage and Voyager together on the left? I'm interested in the Advantage as a possible replacement for my PBW Spitfire. I have a Wenonah Solo Plus which is great for a guest boat but a friend has the Rapidfire, and paddling it has given me an appreciation for faster boats. Any thoughts or recommendations?
I love the Advantage for the paddling I do. It is fast and very stable and a great all around canoe (not a twitchy race canoe). I like it so much I have bought another in kevlar/carbon fiber layup since these pictures were taken. The Placid canoes seem to be great boats. I have not paddled one yet, but was looking into a Rapidfire last year when I ultimately bought my carbon Advantage. I am just more into single blade paddling I guess.
Thanks!! That is great to hear. Have you had it in any significant wind and waves, and if so, how does it handle? Also, how do you find it in comparison to the Voyager?
