I was flat ironing it but it would puff up in a couple of days. Since I never wore it curly I ended up putting a kiddie perm in it for 15 min. to keep down the poof factor. That made it perfectly match my natural texture pressed/flat ironed. It looked really natural! You may also like to seal the wefts as I noticed that even though this is a good quality hair it shed horribly and who wants to pay all that money for hair on the floor :-)?

hi, just wanted to say your information was very helpful. I have been wearing my hair natural for 3 years. It's really thick with a decent texture. I recently seen a relative of mine with the WN and liked the style. (sometimes I also get tired of not knowing different styles i could wear naturally). Therefore, I was considering the change and had actually made an appointment. My main concern was breakage and your postings have helped me to make a decision to cancel out the WN.

Hello I am really thinking about getting the wave nouveau, what kind of product do you use cooper?  Do I have to cut all my hair off to get one? Please educate me..

I have a wave Nouveau and my hair has not broken off, nor fallen out. I cut my hair off last year in october and it has already grown past my shoulders just from keeping up with the wave nouveau. When I cut my hair off, I only had an inch of natural hair, so if you do the math my hair has really grown. I recommend it if you want fast growth and healthy hair. from going natural.

hi after the perm was in did the hair still last long?

i had my wave for 5yrs and i seriously want to take it out , go natural but i dont know what i want to do get braids or what maybe my beautician can answer that and give me ttreatments every so often i did it before i got the wave went natural for a year and my hair grew realy good and strong i didnt put no chemicals in there but it was so short because i cut it off then thats when i got the wave my hair was always thick and strong i just hope it gets back to that....

Hi I tried it after not using perms for a couple of years and it made my hair grow but eventually my hair started to break fell out and I was devastated and too this day I still have damage after like five six years but I'm really into natural not chemical products and something that works wonders that I just rried is called a brazilian keratin treatment and it is Amazing your only adding good protein which the hair is made up of.
