Suspension Brige - Day 4

This is a shot of the bridge again, with our hotel on the right side. Our room was on the second row, about 3 doors from the closest end.

Suspension Bridge - Day 4

This shot was taken early in the morning from about halfway across the bridge. Since there was no traffic, I stepped out to the center of the bridge and took this shot towards Wheeling Island.

A shot looking back where we came from. The blue sign in the distance on the opposite side of the road is our hotel.

Ivy covered walls -

found these, and many other, ivy covered walls along the bike/jog path. Just thought they were nice and would make great backdrops.

Celtic Cross - Wheeling, WV

found this memorial along the bike/jog path. The other side of the memorial has Mayo Co engraved in it. I guess that most of the Irish who worked on the Railroad and National Road, were from Mayo Co, Ireland....could that be where Terrence is from?! Cant confirm, but it is a lead....

Mount Calvary Cemetery - Wheeling, WV

James and Grace Flynn. James was my GG Grandfather's brother. Both John Edward and James Sr. were born in the Wheeling West Virginia area, them moving west to Adair MO. James met Grace while she was in Adair visiting relatives. It is my belief that she was visiting a Gillespie, her mothers maiden name, as I found a Gillespie living in Adair with a Breen family. James' sister Margret, married a Breen....could be nothing....could be everything.
