No Michael, there was no fire, that particular week I got some amazing sunsets. I read an article in our national newspaper about the great sunsets we have been having and this is a direct quote - "This autumn in Australia has seen some amazing sunsets, due to a lot of dust and other particles in the air. Colourful skies are the result of sunlight reflecting and filtering through small particles. Think of it like a glass prism."
This photo was taken on top of Mt Panorama (where the Bathurst V8 races are held) in my hometown of Bathurst. I have been experimenting with using flash to highlight the foreground in sunset photos, and this is the result of one of them.
Nice way to go. Will be checking out more of your stuff as time permits. thanks for viewing my albums, http://public.fotki.com/sonscere/ Am in process of moving from Colorado to Maine on east coast. Hi Fred, these yards are at Dundullimal Homestead at Dubbo in NSW. Dundullimal Homestead is the oldest standing slab house in Australia. It was built in 1840, and has been restored by the NSW Heritage Trust. I couldn't resist that photo of those cool looking old yards.

Peter, I think if you go into your album and select edit properties "advanced options" and set your "Photo View Size:"? to 650X650 it will make the photo's larger. Might give it a try.... [ edit ] [ delete ]
