Copiapoa krainziana

Very nice. I think I've got the same, but it seem to be very slowgrowing - now about 2 cm.

Sorry, but it's not Notocactus. By last classification this cactus called Eriocactus Leninghausii.

Cereus Peruvianus Monstrous

Cereus Peruvianus Monstrous is one of my favorites. Truely an art form, future heirloom,... and a real challenge living in my native New England.

I've had "chewbaca" for about 20 years now and held him to about 7'. Potted on casters he's now too tall for the threshold (at 250-300lbs he's virtually immovable). Recently been researching details on the mutation and low temp survivability. Personal proven night-time excursions to 20F. Currently building enclosure to sustain 35F min so he can overwinter outdoors and gain needed summer headroom.

We both appear to have the cristated forms. Interestingly, my father's Florida specimin seems to have shown recent growth deviations away from the cristated form. He claims the change to elongated growth occured this season when he over-fertilized.

Trichocereus terscheckii

Really beautiful plant. I am a collector of Trichocereus and I must say that this cactus in a very good shape. Therscheckii may have various looks otherwise. The form and color of the spines can vary in a wide range. This is the most common type of terscheckii. I have plants from its original territory and appearance changes area by area. Congratulations Pal to this wonderful cerea.
Best Regards! Valentine Gyorke from Hungary
