I am terribly sorry, but I do have to laugh at your comment!! I think we all have ended up in the same predictament as you while water skiing at one point. LOL
I am glad to see you were not more seriousely hurt. I hit a sheep whilst I was doing about 50 MPH It damaged my car so baddly it had to have a total front end rebuild. Luckily I found the farmer and claimed off his insurance. (hope all is well now)
What a wonderful sceen, we never get that cold over in the UK unfortunately we are protected by the Gulf stream, I would love to have the opertunity to take photos like this. We do get some snow but it never gets as cold as this photo shows.
I think the wall was done by hand before they bought they house. It is the 'tissue technique' I believe. She explained it to me and it sounds pretty simple to do. Lovely isn't? I just don't really like the high gloss they used, not good for taking photos indoors. LOL
We rendered the lard ,pickled the feet. Only thing we didn't use was the pigs squeal ! @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ oh how funny!!!!! i really liked taking these photos for some reason. pretty neat to watch how the process went.
Did You have a smoke house to cure the bacon, ham and sausages in ? Nothing better than home smoked pork.. ****************************************************************************************************************** No, they send off the bacon and ham to have it cured. The sausages.....they add their own spices to it and make it themselves. It is wonderful!! We have a freezer full of fresh pork. So much better than store bought!!
