Hi, my name is Jim. Back in the 80's I was a member of Night Life Minis. Ken Jones was a honorary member of our club. We attended his services at the funeral home and then followed the hearse from Redondo Beach all the way to Riverside to pay our respects. I have pictures of The Harem. I meet Ken at a few van runs and shows during the late 70s early 80s . That van was the sweetest van you could find . I talked to Ken for what felt like hours about his baby . He answered all my questions . He was the nicest and very polite about all my yapping ( i was 19) . I borrowed many of his ideas. My van never ended up even close to the HAREM butt no one elses did either. Im sorry butt i've lost all my pics of the van . I will be talking to some of my old buds to see what they have. My name is Kenneth Hayes , I lived right behind Walt on Washington , st. i was around sixteen or seventeen and i watched it burn. I also helped him work on it , on the interior . I looked up to him like a father figure but it was the 70'' , Cocaine , running all around my brain'. there was a lot of people disappearing in them day's , even me , Fla. state Penn., Raiford . for the next 20yrs.i was doing life on installments . Released three times , never could make that Parole . In 92 i was released from Lake Buttler Fla. They came in told me to pack my bunk & kiss my punk , they said my sorry ass wasn't welcomed there any more . A good friend Elaine Moore wrote Tall. and i was immediately released . I had already maxed out my sentenced , i should of been out , i didn't even know. Well i could go on & on as you can tell. Sorry. I was raised in Port Salerno old dixie Hwy. from Fort Pierce to south Miami A.I.A. before all the condo's . I've been rambling Houston, Tx. New Orleans , Detroit ,Toledo , Columbus , Lex. Ky. and a Hell of a lot of rough road in between. Any way , like Kid Rock say's, '' I meet a girl in Tn. and she could see the good in me.'' I got here in 99 met her in 2001 when i was brought back from J.ville Fla. to Tn.on escape charge's I was released in Jan. 1 , 05 and as Johnny Winters say's , '' I'm still alive and well , Every now and then i know it's kind of hard to tell , But I'm skill alive and WELL .''
