    My Aubrey Organics Collection
Still loving my AO conditioners and need to stock at the end of 2011 :) I am also going to get a bottle of Rosa Mosqueta conditioner to try, have you tried this one?.
I have tried GBP shampoo but it is way too drying for my hair, I used it clean the bath in the end

Hi Rosalindb. No I have not tried the Rosa Mosqueta conditioner and had no desire to try it. I will however, try the AO Swimmers conditioner. I saw great reviews of it and it will most likely be in among my next hair product order.
The GBP poo really does leave the hair feeling stripped bu the moment you put the GBP conditioner on your hair, it turns to butter. So I don't mind using any of the AO poos I have or any organic poos for that matter. I actually like how clean my hair feels after using them, but I like how soft it feels after using the conditioner right afterwards even better.

Hi again, I love White Camellia shampoo - that has been my staple for almost 4 years, that one does not leave my hair feeling stripped at all, it works well for me. Another conditioner I love is the Blue Green Algae Hair rescue mask and use that every 6 months as a medium protein treatment.

Hmmm, I may look into getting the White Camellia poo when I run out of my Elucence Moisture Balancing poo since you say it doesn't leave your hair stripped. The least I can do is try it out. I have wayyyy too many protein conditioners to even look at getting another one but I am happy you found something your hair likes.

    Still natural-morning before I texlaxed - Sept 12, 2010
If you don't mind me asking, what technique did you use to texlax your natural hair? I've been natural for 6 months and I'm thinking of texlaxing my hair. Thank you

Keyanisha, I didn't use any special technique to texlax my hair except for henna'ing my hair the day before I relaxed my hair. You see, the henna leaves a coated film over the strands of the hair preventing my hair from becoming straight even though I left it on the length of time required on the jar. In fact, I left it on a little longer than that and my hair still came out perfectly texlaxed.

On the jar of my Mizani Butter Blend (mild, lye) relaxer, it stated that one should not relax their hair within 3 days of henna'ing it, but I did it anyway and got awesome results and now today, I am giving myself a henna treatment and will be relaxing it tomorrow or Monday morning at the very latest.

6.5 weeks post texlaxed, 10.27.10 - I'm almost APL Again, YAY!
Thickness and might i add such beautiful skin! Question tho, are you still using megatek if so do u mix it or apply it straight and how much did i contribute to your growth?

Hi Sunshine.Thank you for the compliments. In answer to your question, I no longer use megatek but I did leave my regimen up for those just now trying it out. It did thicken my hair a bit but I did not experience any substantial growth.I used all the bottles of it that I had and never repurchased. I am simply concentrating my efforts on internal health by taking my vitamins on time and exercising, etc. I did not use throughout my transition to natural hair at all, nor since I texlaxed my hair in September this year. I used to both apply it directly to my scalp and condition my hair with it.
